J. D. Birla Institute, accorded 'A' grade by National Assessment and Accrediation Council (NAAC) and granted autonomous status by UGC, is affiliated to Jadavpur University (JU), a world renowned Centre of Excellence.
The Institute's Department of Management, recognized as one of the best in India, invites applications from eligible candidates for the 3 year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Honours Programme.
Duration :
The length of the course is 6 semesters (3 years) with 6 subject papers covered in each semester. Students attend 18 weeks of classes per semester.
Timing :
Classes are scheduled in the afternoon from 1:30 P.M. to 6:15 P.M. On Saturdays, classes are held from 10:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. This timing allows students to concurrently pursue other specialised professional courses or otherwise gain part time work experience during their morning hours.

10+2 pass candidates with a minimum of 50% marks will be eligible for written test and interview. Candidates awaiting their class XII Board Exam results will be admitted, if selected, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria at the time of admission.
Written entrance examination will be held on June 5, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the campus. Candidates will have to appear for interview on June 9 or June 10, 2014.

Limited number of forms will also be available at the Institute from May 5, 2014 till May 29, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. (Mon - Fri) and 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon (Sat).
Completed forms must be submitted latest by May 30, 2014 (3:00 P.M.).

- Application Forms are Non-Transferable.
- FORM must be collected in the name of the APPLICANT ONLY
- At the time of submission please verify that the Applicant's name is same as provided in our record duirng collection of the form or else the candidature will be considered as CANCELLED through submitted.
- Forms should be complete in all respect with colored passport size photo pasted firmly on appropriate boxes.
- Applicant must bring ORIGINAL ADMIT CARD & MARKSHEET OF CLASS XII BOARD EXAMINATION along with original certificates of extracurricular activity (if any) at the time of PI.
- No one will be allowed to take the Entrance Test and PI without Admit Card bearing the Photo ID.
- Applicants are to report at the venue for the Entrance test on 5th June, 2014 by 9:30 A.M.
- Each Applicant has to appear both in the Entrance test and PI in order to be considered for admission.
- No Application Form will be accepted after date & time mentioned above.
